The Art of Togetherness
God is breathing a spirit of openness and vulnerability among us that is creating a beautiful atmosphere of intimacy and unity. We were never meant to go through the pains and joys of life alone, and by God’s grace, we are learning the art of togetherness.
We share our lives, our dreams and our stories with one another over shared meals and in our worship gatherings. We care for each other when one of us is hurting or sick. We pray. We laugh. We grieve. And we celebrate together. There are no outsiders in the Kingdom of God. We see it as our joy and responsibility to invite and include as many as we can to God’s table, which is both a family and a party.
"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” (NIV)
