Being naturally leads to doing, and being in a vital relationship with Jesus Christ eventually spills over into every area of life. Again, in JOHN 15:5 Jesus says, "If you abide in Me, you will bear much fruit" meaning that as we make the choice to stay close to Him, Jesus Christ will do amazing things through us. Every day is filled with wonderful opportunities for doing great things with Jesus Christ and for Jesus Christ.
The OUTWARD ministries of 2nd Street are designed for deploying our hearts OUTWARD to travel the pathway of becoming fruitful for Jesus Christ in three main arenas … CHURCH, COMMUNITY and CONTINENTS.
Our 2nd Street MISSION statement comes alive when we serve others in the name of Jesus Christ. And whether it happens in our Church, in Newberg, or in the world, this cooperating with God and each other changes us forever.

Through the Fall Food Drive, Short-Term and Vocational Missions Trips, Block Parties and Local S potential future OUTWARD ministries such as Worship Services in Care Homes and Jail Ministry, we live out our life of faith in God in ways visible and real.
It's through avenues of service and sacrifice that God takes us to the deeper levels of intimacy with Him – and this is where 2nd Street as a flock longs to go.
